This song started the whole CD rolling. Thinking about love from a variety of perspectives.
An elderly couple who had been married for fifty years were asked the question, "what is your secret to being married so long?"  The wife answered without missing a beat, "We never fell out of love at the same time." This started this whole CD rolling by tossing the idea around. Love, the possibilities of love, old, new, kids, beer, parents, friends, shoes etc. A Thing or Three about love.

Lyrics

Thing or Three About Love
 © Susan Harrison
Love comes, love goes, pages open, chapter’s close.
So why’d we stay in love? I wanna know,
‘Cause love has ups and downs, highs and lows
Good, bad, happy, sad and mad.
I know a thing or three about love.

One thing I know, you reap what you sow.
So, you better be good, you better be kind.
If love’s so blind, why’d we see to intertwine so beautifully.
Why you, why me, why’d we get as lucky as a couple can be?
Why’d we stay in love.

Oh, here’s the secret the magic key to unlock the mystery of love’s longevity.
Here’s how we stay in love.
We never fell out of love at the same time.
That would be bad, that would be sad.
No we never fell out of love at the same time.

So, hold me close, give me space. Somehow we manage to find our place.
That’s how we stay in love.  Yeah I know a thing or three about.
I know a thing or two about, I know you so I know love.
