Palamazoo Puppets
Susan has shared her songs in libraries, festivals and schools throughtout the Midwest. She has worked with many creative teachers as a performance artist for Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through The Arts and VSA Arts of Michigan. Harrison's interactive concerts showcase her high spirited humor and award winning songs that have made her an audience favorite to the young and the young at heart. Solo, or with the PALamazoo puppet band the Scatty Cats, Susan will have you tapping your toes and humming along with original danceable ditties and well-known tunes! She has three original award-winning CD's for children to her credit, the movement inspired Jungle Jamboree and the literary based Once Upon A Rhyme, and now the new PALamazoo Hullabaloo which features sing along action songs and includes the award winning Safety Star. Make Waves for the adult kids is full of soulful, rockin' tunes. From festivals to concert halls, schools, residencies and workshops, Susan shares her joy!
Susan started PALamazoo puppets in 1987 and enjoys working with puppetry because you can combine many different arts disciplines. From script writing, set and puppet design to music, movement and drama influences, puppetry can have it all. Her puppet shows showcase her artful, imaginative puppets, original songs and scripts adding a visual bonus.
